There are various ways to contact the doctors and nurses at the surgery.
GP Appointments: Appointments for the doctor can be booked by telephone on (01296) 658585 during opening hours, in person or via our website. If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within 2 working days.
You may have to wait longer if you wish to see a particular GP.
Please cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.
Urgent Problems: These are seen on the day—say immediately if your appointment is an emergency eg chest pain, shortness of breath, bleeding.
Branch Surgeries: These are held at the village halls in Grendon Underwood; Monday and Friday at 13:45 and Quainton; Tuesday and Friday at 11:00.
Please arrive at the above times and the doctor will see patients in turn.
Results: Can only be given to the patient and are only given out after 13:30.
Nurse Appointments: These are bookable at reception and by telephone and can be booked in advance. The receptionist will ask the reason for the appointment to enable them to book sufficient time for your requirements.
Travel Vaccinations: These appointments need to be booked in advance as foreign travel has complex issues. We would recommend you complete your travel consultation form and book your travel appointment at least 8 weeks before you travel to ensure your safety. Either collect or download your form and hand into reception. Download your form here
Other Services: We offer clinics in Child Health and Immunisation, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and Smoking Cessation.
We offer all aspects of family planning advice.
Phlebotomy Service: We are able to take your blood at the surgery. These appointments are in the morning due to our collection time and can be booked at reception or online. Blood can only be tested if authorised by your GP.
Home Visits: We offer a home visit service for housebound patients and where the medical condition demands it. However, it is better to see patient within the surgery to ensure the best level of care. Please ring before 10.00 if you require a visit, and let us know if your condition is urgent.
Primary care services not available at our practice are provided by NHS Buckinghamshire. Telephone (01296) 310000.
